Africorp International: Founded in 2002, the Khartoum-based Africorp International (ACI) is a Sudanese private company mainly engaged in export and import. As an exporter ACI is developing into a leading Sudanese as Africorp Internationalll as African supplier of a variety of agricultural products. Among other agricultural commodities, ACI is a market leader in Hibiscus Sabdariffa , Sesame Seed, Ground Nuts, Senna Pods, Orange and Lemon Peel, Gum Arabic, Aromatic Gums like Myrrh and Olibanum, and Dried Onions . Organic Produce: In addition to non-organically certified crops, ACI is also specializing in supplying Organic Agri-food Products. Organically certified agri-food products which ACI supplies to both local and international markets include Hibiscus Sabdariffa, Sesame Seed, Senna Pods and Gum Arabic. Business History: ACI founders come from an agricultural background. Their decent is rooted in the western Sudan region, Sudan &＃039;s largest agricultural farm belt. They were brought up with their hands dusted in the sand soil where the above-mentioned crops are cultivated and produced. Thus an early awareness of agriculture, and a deep-seated sense of social responsibility to work closely with agricultural producers towards an improved agricultural economy to benefit both producer and consumer societies; and an improved quality of life for all those involved in the supply and purchase chain. ACI started its agricultural produce export business as early as 2003. Based on a strong Research and Development (R&D) and an International Relations (IR) Department, ACI is now a focal point for a multi-national market network.
