In March 2006 on the territory of Kyrgyz Republic two new startups have been established. One ??IS Cellular Systems Ltd?to assemble CDMA 2000 1x cellular handsets and the other one ??ong Hwa Telecom Co?to distribute those handsets to the local and other markets through own retail channels and vast dealer networks. The Prime Minister of Kyrgyz Republic Felix Kulov has attended the opening ceremony of the first factory in Central Asia to assemble cellular handsets. This event has attracted wide media attention from local and regional media outlets.
The company? personnel has gone thru extensive training by South Korean specialists and able to assemble high quality cellular handsets in great variety of models, functionality and at price levels affordable to all income levels.  
Because of that in this time span CIS Cellular System. Ltd. were able to increase subscriber base of Kyrgyz cellular operator by more than 80%. At the same time, working in close contact with local cellular operators and retail distributors of cellular handsets we successfully continue operations and increasing the presence on such markets as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and others. The quantity of permanent sales locations (not including diversified dealer networks) consists on average in 10-15 range in every country.
Besides, today in Kyrgyzstan we have largest A/S service center in all of CIS member countries fully set with high tech testing equipment. Well trained personnel allow providing high quality service to our customers and quick warranty repairs
In 3 years span our company in cooperation with local CDMA operators (Fonex in Kyrgyzstan, Dalacom in Kazahstan, Perfectum Mobile in Uzbekistan) have been able to establish refurbished CDMA handsets as high end affordable alternative to entry level GSM handsets. Over the years we continue  to increase not only total sales volume but also constantly chip away market share  from GSM competitors.
