Grenidea was founded by a Singapore scientist and partners who shared a vision and Grenidea Technologiere passionate about sustainable development and wanted to create credible sustainable materials technology from renewable agricultural fibre. They viewed agricultural fibrous residue as a valuable yet under exploited renewable resources and applied combined talents to innovate around it. Their goal was a sustainable packaging materials that was made of renewable and non-GM agricultural fibrous residue, performance-impactful, end-life biodegradable and compostable and eco-toxicity free. Today, Grenidea has grown to be a sustainable materials partner of choice, innovating sustainable materials that deliver superior and diversified performance across a wide range of packaging applications. AgroResin is designed to overcome performance limitation of conventional molded pulp, and to take advantage of abundant and renewable availability of cellulose fibre and to unveil the potential of less explored fibre residue of agricultural farming. The innovation team of Grenidea develops a simple and sound idea of networking fibre primarily cellulose or lignocellulose of choice via covalent bonds through materials engineering.
