Harbin Optical Instrument Factory Co., Ltd. was founded in 1966, and is located in Jingwei Street, the downtown of Harbin, less than 100 meters away from the Central Street. After innovation and development for 40 years, we have already developed from a small factory in Harbin to a Hi-tech company in Heilongjiang Province, with an area of 1,600 square meters and a floor space of 6,100 square meters. High-tech personnel occupy 2% of the total staff number. We have a machining center and over 200 sets of optical testing equipment. We have been honored to be "Famous Brand of Harbin" and "China Famous Brand of Heilongjiang Province".

We have eight series of Geology compasses, Forestry compasses, Digital planimeters, laser orientation instruments, Height measure instruments, and Micro-electric area measurers. More than 40 varieties of our products are widely used in forestry, agriculture, mining, geological survey, water conservancy, meteorology and scientific fields. We passed ISO9001:2000 international quality system certification in 2007.

We have been granted as the "Pearl of small enterprise", "the enterprise of quality and efficiency", "learning enterprise" and many other honors. Series Compasses, planimeter Instruments and laser pointing instruments made by our enterprise have been granted as "Famous Products of Harbin" and "Chinese Famous Products of Heilongjiang Province".
