Established on August 5th, 2005, Hoby International Inc. is a Liberian-based private international development and management consultancy firm providing cutting edge technical consultancy to the business and development community including government institutions, non-profit development institutions, business institutions as Hoby International Inc.ll as civil society institutions on a wide range of services.

Under our Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Development and Business Incubation Service, we build the capacity of private sector institutions to power domestic economic growth and world trade focusing SMEs. Services include institutional capacity development and training, advisory on access to loans and other financial services, provision of micro-finance and micro-enterprise loans, credit referencing and independent evaluations, development of business plans/proposals, management consultancy services, etc

Our Development and Management Consultancy services include economic development policy analysis, policy research, developing national development plans, drafting sector policy and strategy documents and conducting reviews, conducting economic sector diagnostic studies and growth corridor studies, conducting public sector macro-capacity assessment including, the conduct of institutional micro-assessment and capacity development, developing national monitoring and evaluation systems and the conduct of independent reviews and evaluation, etc.

Under our Investment Relations and Advisory Services, we provide international investment relations and advisory services, overseas clients representation in bidding and contract negotiations, management consultancy and management contracting, etc.

We are also coming up with our Amazing Liberia Project; an 18yrs private sector development initiative. The main activities of the project include: Holding Liberia 1st post-war International Private Sector Investment Conference 2013 targeting 2,100 participants (1,000 internationals, 1000 nationals and 100 Government and Development Partners) with the objective of a) creating the platform for a strategic private sector engagement on the Vision 2030 and AfT, b) setting the stage for an inclusive Liberian private sector networking and bonding with global partners, and c) unraveling the vast investment potential of Liberia from the individual sector levels. The Conference takes place from 27-29, November 2013. Participation is by institution and will cost US$2500 for international institutions and US$500 for national institutions. Online applications will open on August 15, 2013 (please check this site by that time to participate); Developing a Web-based categorized directory of Liberian businesses and other institutions that facilitates ease of contact and global business networking; Creating the platform for continuous domestic public-private sector economic policy debate, engagement and partnership on issues of economic growth and development through the holding of the Quarterly Economic Policy Dialogue. This also includes the production of a Quarterly Economic Policy Review, a socio-economic and socio-political magazine.
