LACRIMA has a long experience and traditions in the buying out, processing and realization of milk and milk products. There is a strict and very Lacrimall developed quality system: Control over the raw materials, the products and the materials at the entrance; - Control over the activities, inspections and researches; - Control on the managing of the processes during the packing and sorting, preservation and delivery; - Internal checking of the quality and checking by the authorized persons and institutions. The relations of the company with the milk producers are regulated through contracts for milk buying out of cow, sheep and goat milk that are updated every month according to the market price of the raw material (milk). All milk producers are registered as agricultural owners. Every year over 6 000 000 liters cow milk and 1 500 000 liters sheep milk are bought out with a tendency of a stable increase. The milk is bought out and transported with own specialized transport vehicles from 50 collection points out of which 35 are owned by LACRIMA and the rest are under rent from the municipalities, city-halls and private producers. The equipment of the collection points is wholly paid and owned by LACRIMA. These are equipments for quantity and quality measurements of the milk, consumptives, pumps for transportation, etc. There are refrigerator chambers and refrigerator tubs fixed in every receiving station to guarantee the quality of the milk in the stations and the whole maintenance related to the equipment is carried out by the company. LACRIMA produces the following kinds of milk products: - White brine cheese from cow, sheep and goat milk; - Yellow cheese from cow and sheep milk; - Traditional Bulgarian yogurt; - Soft Cheese "Krema"; - Butter; - Milk cream with spices for sandwiches: - Cottage Cheese; - And hard European cheese.
