Prashtech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturing company based in Pune since 1996. It is promoted by highly qualified, technically competent and experienced directors Mr. Shekhar Mhapsekar & Mr. Prabodh Veerkar.
The business began with selection of a right product for manufacturing. The selected product was in the area of Machine Tools Accessory- CNC Lathe Live Centre. Till those days Centers available locally Prashtech Engineers Pvt. Ltd.re not engineered for CNC Lathe applications. Those were good for manual lathes. PRASHTECH indigenously developed the product. Product trials were conducted on indigenously made load-setup followed by field trials. All this was necessary for confirmation of commercial usefulness of various novel features added to the product first time in India. Once the product development was through, necessary manufacturing facilities were installed.
Currently Live Centres are being manufactured and marketed across India. Most of Indian CNC Lathe manufacturers are OE customers of PRASHTECH. PRASHTECH has appointed Dealers for effective distribution in major cities accross India.
By the year 2001, PRASHTECH added another business line other than Machine Tools. Alfa Laval (India) Ltd. was then looking for new vendors with right capabilities for import-substitution of certain critical machined components. PRASHTECH indigenously developed those components of Decanter & Planetary Gearbox one by one. Alfa Laval helped a lot during development phase. Now-a-days PRASHTECH manufactures all these parts at par with international quality, strictly adhering to customer drawings and material specifications. All these components are being supplied, with material, to Alfa Laval as well as there spares & service dept. since 2001. PRASHTECH is a dependable key supplier of Decanter Factory.
PRASHTECH has added component business of other multinationals, too.
Meanwhile demand for own product Centres was growing many folds. To increase manufacturing capacity, in the year 2007, PRASHTECH bought brand new CNC Cylindrical Grinding Machine of Jones & Shipman make, UK. This universal machine fitted with latest software and advance equipments is boon to future business capabilities of PRASHTECH.
PRASHTECH has started to export precision machined components to a manufacturer in Denmark in the year 2008.
