Samdo commenced operations in 1960 and as such, became Korea's first textile exporting company. Throughout the 60's and the 70's, Samdo played a very important role in helping to build a strong foundation for Korea's economic development. Throughout the ensuing years, there have been challenging times but the company is now in the recovery phase from cSamdo Corporationt receivership thanks to the ceaseless efforts of the Samdo workforce and the implementation of successful restructuring programs.

In addition to the favorable acceptance of Chocolat, the most exclusive infant garment brand in related circles, as well as the young casual OPT002 and the DULON Zipper, Samdo is now aggressively moving to establish a firm foothold for future growth. The company has currently launched a new brand entitled Miss Sixty, the hottest label in Europe.

The textile business is not a fading industry, rather, it is a culture combining capital and marketing knowledge of the industry for the 21st century.
