Company Description

San Nutrafoods isestablished in 2012 by partners Mr. Ashok Newaskar and his sonSaurabh Newaskar.  This firm is the sister concern ofSAN Nutrafoodll-established firm “San Fibres And Chemicals” (since 1991) andthe family owned company “San Printech Pvt Ltd” (since1998).   Mr. SaurabhNewaskar, the graduate in Bio-Technology from Mumbai University andthen post graduate from UICT, Mumbai (formerly UDCT) in Bio-Techwith specialization in Food Technology, took the lead to start theactivities related to foods and nutraceuticals.  With hisresearch on tropical fruit Garcinia Indica (Kokum) in UICT as wellas at Rutgers, USA, Mr. Saurabh decided on commercialization ofproducts of Kokum for domestic as well as export market. Along with products of Kokum like concentrate pulp, syrup,juice, powderetc., for the use in different waysfor food and drinks, the company also wishes to proceed fordevelopment of other possible specialty productsfor industrial application like cosmetic, natural dyes andcolorants, etc. Kokumhas tremendousimportance because of its rich antioxidantvalue and many other healthbenefits.  Since Kokum being tropical &seasonal fruit, not many are aware about itsnutritional and medicinal values.   Onthe basis of health benefits and the limited availability of thistropical fruit in a few limited parts of India, the company wishesto make its specialization in development and production of relatedproducts of Kokum.  The company has already made up thearrangement for the procurement of this tropical fruit which isavailable in very short period of season and production of requiredproducts from this fruit.   The company wishes to workclosely in partnership with differentmanufacturers as well asunderstanding the need of actualconsumers for development of differentbeverages of rare combinations with Kokum and otherhealthy products which should be beneficial in terms ofhealth and wellness. Apart from Kokum,San Nutrafoods also include the products fromMango and some moreseasonal fruits in the planning of marketing indomestic as well as international market.  The company wishesto join hands with some reputed brands in country as well as abroadfor the consistent supply of these specialty products as rawmaterial for their production of various types of foods, drinks andbeverages.  Theproduction in most hygienic plant under all regulations andconsistent quality supply within specified parameters is the mottoof the company.
