Tec-Shield is a unique blend of surfactants in an oil base designed to passivate metallic surfaces against corrosion and mechanical wear. In doing so Tec-Shield provides boundary lubrication, friction reduction, and neutralization of electrical conductivity which leads to longer in-use times for equipment, less maintenance costs, fewer failures, and safer working conditions. Tec-Shield can be used as is by misting, fogging, or soaking on equipment that is ready for use on site or treating parts separately for further assembly. Tec-Shield can also be diluted in water to yield a stable opaque emulsion that can be used as a release agent on asphalt equipment, snow and sand trucks, concrete forms, and coal transports. High temperatures and pressures such as those associated with bearings, turbines, and chain assemblies will further activate Tec-Shield to provide an enhanced and very durable surface treatment that will resist mechanical wear. Tec-Shield is environmentally safe, contains no hazardous materials or CA Prop 65 components, and all ingredients are TSCA registered.
