We provide onboard service for the 3 types of UTI/MMC/Trimode instruments for Marine Crude Oil / Chemical Tankers measuring Ullage, Interface Temperature.Temperature calibration can be done on board the vessel. Original Tracebility Certificates issued. This saves time and cost for the OFFLOADING.
Electrical Zero Point (EZP) test of the sensor probe for Oil and Water is done with our improvised test rig and overflowing cup. For the Ullage test, oil is filled up to the brim of the overflowing cup, and the sensor is lowered until the tip touches the surface of the oil. Measurement on the tape is noted, and then the sensor is lowered further until the sound of the buzzer changes. The difference between the tip and the activation point is the offset of the sensor, that is the EZP.
In March 2003, we got a line of handheld Calibrating instruments from a manufacture with over 20 years history. A one-in-all handheld instrument to source and measure: Standard current signal (4-20mA) with ramp and step modes, 8 types of thermocouples, 3 types of RTD, resistance, Voltage and Frequency source and measurement. This manufacturer, Victor Company has got the latest handheld model of calibrators in the market, competing against big boys who are already established in the market. Nevertheless, Victor with more than 20 years history and the R& D team, makes the latest innovation in the field of Electronic Calibrating and Measuring Instruments at low price entry.
We are based in Singapore as the service and marketing arm of the company for this region. There are about 400 ships calling into Singapore ports daily and this gives a large maket and an important centre for the marine business.
October 2005, Tijit has another agency for Dr. E. Horn GmbH of Germany, manufacturer of speed measuring, Diesel engine monitoring and safety systems on board ships and landbase applications. Dr. E. Horn is more than 100 years old, is a brand name in the marine instrumentation market. With the latest trend on "Condition Monitoring" for the ship's maintenance and preventive maintenance, the instruments do provide good predictions of breakdowns to come, and help save money in terms of downtime and equipment damages and human safety.
May 2006 Tijit got into the business to sell Portable Oil Test Kits for Water-in-oil and TBN (Total Base Number) of Lubricating oil. These instruments are made in the USA.
Feb 2007, VICTOR company of more than 30 years history in the manufacture of measuring and source instruments for the various electronic standard signals gave us the exclusive agency for South East Asia. Tijit has been the agent for Dr. E. Horn to sell their components and systems to the customers on this part of the world, has since saw double digit growth in the transactions.

July 2009, Tijit Pte Ltd expands the sales portfolio into the Medical Instruments, partnership with Dr. Yang Kai, a Medical Specialist in Bone Surgery and a Research Fellow in the Nangyang Technological University of Singapore. Starting with one product for temperature monitoring by non-contact, infra-red method, as the spring-board for our Medical arm, we will be taking in the portable handheld products for Blood sugar monitor, BP sets with automatic measurement and test kits for a range of common diseases amongst the elderly folks and the young people in our effluent society and the silver tsunami.
