Elvio Olave, with degrees in Oenology and Fruit and Vegetable farming, started his olive oil project in 1996. Today Valle Grande S.A. Olave branded Olive Oils are exported to over 15 different markets worldwide as well as being extensively distributed in the domestic Chilean market. Olave&＃039;s motto " Healthy from its source " reflects the tremendous care that is taken in ensuring that proper organic farming procedures are strictly observed meaning that the fruit and oil obtained are completely free of any kind of synthetic chemicals. The Olave Organic and Conventonal Extra Virgin Olive Oils are the result of a harmonious blend of Frantoio, Leccino, Arbequina and Coratina varieties of olives all harvested at exactly the right time. Olave is committed to a continuous search for excellence which includes a recent major investment in the purchase of 500 hectares of land which will be used increase production of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oils.
