Company Description

The Company was founded by the Founding CHAIRMEN/MD DR.P.V.Kularathna with 10 directors. Starting vice Chairmen was a Previous Provincial Minister of Agriculture who Student/ College of the chairmen. Main Object of the Formation of the company was, to bid & taking over the Management of 6 government plantations worth more than 2400 acres including Tea, Rubber and cocounut plantaions. The company opened Bank A/C at Hatton National Bank Kahawatta branch With Initial Deposit of Rs.10 million , Company �s 1st plantation consultant was late Mr. Ravi Gunawardana of Puwakpitiya. At the end of competitive bidding process handled by the �PERC� Behalf of the government of Sri Lanka. Wishwa Consolidated was selected and granted to manage 6 estates of state plantation corporation. This is total extant more than 24000 ecares. Unfortunately this approval was not implemented due to change of president of Sri Lanka. The reason was new president�s policy of not to implemented privet sector paticipation. The company was still managing many private Esrates in srilanka. .
