Company Description

Wolverine Korea was established in 1985 as the representing agency in Korea
of the Wolverine Gasket Division of the Eagle-Picher Automotive Group,
headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. Wolverine Gasket is a world-renowned
manufacturer of a variety of substrate materials which are coated by thin layers
of rubber. As the core division of the Automotive Group of Eagle-Picher, Wolverine
has been supplying the world automotive markets for 60 years.
These non-asbestos materials are used primarily in two applications.
The first application, which Wolverine Gasket invented, is the noise suppressor
for braking systems, known also as shims. The second application is the gasket,
which is used in all types of machinery as sealing solutions.

Founded during the beginning stages of the Korean automotive industry,
Wolverine Korea has provided the industry with solutions to automotive noise
and sealing problems throughout the short but explosive growth of the Korean
automotive industry.
Korea is now the fifth largest manufacturer of automobiles in the world, and
Wolverine Korea has been fortunate enough to provide most of the shims and
gaskets used in these cars.Wolverine Korea also supplies indirectly to the U.S.
automotive market by supplying compressor gaskets to Korea Delphi Automotive
System Corporation and Halla Climate Control Corporation, both of which supply
to General Motors and Ford Motor Company.

Wolverine Korea has also grown from a representing agency to a manufacturing
poWolverine Korea Co., Ltd.r, currently producing over 35,000,000 parts a year. As of 1999, Wolverine
Korea has over a 95% share in the automotive shim and compressor gasket
market in Korea. Wolverine Korea also represents other divisions of the Eagle-
Picher Group in Korea, both Automotive and Industrial.
