China Export Finance (CEF) was established in 2004 as a limited company, with the intention of participating in trade finance activities of products sChina Export Financeced out of China, for distribution in Europe and the US. The company commenced trading in an operational capacity from 2006. Our headquarters are based in London with offices in Shanghai and New York. CEF facilitates European and US SMEs’ trade with China and vice versa, managing both sides of the trade relationship, working with both European importers/buyers and Chinese exporters/manufacturers. CEF offers a complete service, providing every aspect of trade support from exporter receivables finance activities through to open account trading solutions for buyers. CEF also offers a range of ancillary services including logistics, document handling, customs support, insurance, inspections, FOREX and VAT reclaims Currently businesses have to deal with complex separate arrangements with banks, financing houses, logistics companies, insurance companies and authorities so CEF’s proposition is unique to the market. CEF’s customers include companies from a wide range of industry sectors such as steel, textiles, electronics, white goods and cosmetics.
