With non-profit, not for profit, and other membership supported Associations constantly seeking new ways to recruit new members, retain existing membership, and enhance member benefits cost effectively, it became CMGPO's mission to negotiate "Master Contracts" with EOM and Wholesale vendors. The purchasing power base of approximately 137,000 members belonging to 23 associations enabled CMGPO to negotiate end column pricing.After analyzing the survey data of various associations, a revenue projection model and savings projection model was developed. The concept was test marketed with great success, resulting in the creation of a new super association.
