Company Description

The Snails Garden Company is located in an ecological region of Warmia and Masuria at an area of 2.5 ha. SNAILS GARDEN farm for 10 years has specialized in breeding African snails Helix Aspersa M�¼ller and Helix Aspersa Maxima. We also organize trainings for new farmers who want to start their own farm of these species. Since the company&＃039;s beginnings we are focused on continuous development. We ensure the highest quality of services offered, which gave an industry leader position in Europe. Farm area is equipped with innovative technologies such as unmanned hydrophores, automatic sprinklers or monitoring. Snails are grown in a special environment, rich in lush vegetation and natural morning dew. The feed mixtures are prepared from carefully selected, organic grains mixed with special herbs. Snails Garden Farm is a member of Slow Food movement, an international organization that deals with the promotion of healthy producers and traditional food. In 2009, the company was the winner of the "Microentrepreneur of 2009", in the same year the Polish publication "Breeding and Raising Snails", written by Gregory Skalmowski, was published. In 2012 the company was awarded the first place award in the "Socially Engaged Entrepreneur" competition. It is a recognition of our activities in the area of ��Corporate Social Responsibility, pro-social and pro-environmental attitudes and commitment to community development. Our latest success is the distinction in the "How to succeed 2013" under the patronage of the President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development - Stanislaw Kalemba. One of our successes is also the organisation of the first in Poland Snail&＃039;s Day, when our guests had the opportunity to try dishes made of snails from different parts of the world.
