TOMBOY AQUAFEED JSC is established in Vietnam in 2001. Head office and shrimp feed factory are located in southTOMBOY AQUAFEED JSCst part of Ho Chi Minh City with a production capacity of 30.000 Mts/y. Branch office and fish feed factory are located in Long An province, about 10 km from the south of Ho Chi Minh City with a production capacity of 70.000 Mts/y.

TOMBOY AQUAFEED JSC is a reputable and profitable fish & shrimp feed company in Vietnam with a number four market position. In 2009, annual revenues amounted to 18 millions EUR with approximately 300 staff. In 2010, TOMBOY AQUAFEED JSC belongs to Nutreco Group, a global leader in animal nutrition and fish feed with 100 years heritage of knowledge and experience. This integration offers Skretting, the fish feed producer of Nutreco with the global leading position for high quality fish feed production, an entrance in Vietnam and an interesting platform for the future growth strategy. Nutreco employs approximately 9,700 people in 30 countries, sales in 80 countries and obtains EUR 4.5 billion of annual revenue in 2009.

The aims of the company is :
- To produce and distribute high quality hatchery and grow out feed for aquaculture suitable to each species and each type of production.

- To offer full scientific and technical services to farmers through direct advise, publication, conference, meeting, exhibition in cooperation with foreign senior experts and different Vietnam Institutes and Universities, for improving aquaculture performance, particularly shrimp culture management and technology in all aspects.

Tomboy aquafeed biography
2001 :
- Company founded and equally owned by Offer Katz, Franck Bodin and Yuval Gattegno as an aquaculture feed producer and distributor.

2002 :
- Production started in January with two range of high quality shrimp feed, Tomboy for very intensive and intensive culture of Penaeus Monodon and Mega for intensive and semi intensive culture for Penaeus Monodon and Vanamei.
- Appointed as exclusive distributor in Vietnam and Cambodia for hatchery product line of Zeigler corporation/USA.

2003 :
- Reached 10% market share in Vietnam with 12 000 Mts of grow out shrimp feed sales for the year of 2003.
- Achieved ISO 9001-2000 certification with BVQI for manufacturing and distributing aqua feed, such as shrimp feed.
- Second production line put into operation in December 2003 which bring total capacity of the factory to 30 000 Mts of high quality shrimp feed.

2008 :
- Second factory at Long An province with total capacity of 70.000 Mts started the production of two high quality fish feed ranges, Micro for fresh water fingerlings fish and Til for fresh water carnivorous fish such as Tilapia and Anabas testudineus.

2009 :
- Reached the 4th position in Vietnam market of hatchery & grow out feed for shrimp & fish.
- Annual revenues amounted EUR 18 millions.

2010 :
- Integration 100% to Nutreco Group.
