Varuna Biocell Pvt Ltd (Varuna) was established in the year 2001.

Varuna is research driven life sciences company with focus in developing unique SSF based production technologies for basic enzymes / proteins, development of formulated products for various industrial uses, up scaling and commercialization of such biotech products. R&D unit of Varuna is recognized by Department of Science and Technology, CSIR, Govt. of India for its pioneering work in developing enzymes and functional proteins.
