Vololink is in the business of developing, manufacturing and selling voice and data products and solutions for broadband wireless mobile telecommunications, particularly the global UMTS HSPA market. HSPA is a new improved version of 3G commonly referred to as 3.5G. HSPA has already attracted more than 400 million subscribers globally. New versions of the technology provide high speed uplink as Vololink Pty Limitedll as the high speed downlink capability. The combined technology is known as UMTS HSPA .
The Company has taken its first product, from concept to production. The first manufactured product was available for sale in Q1, 2008. Vololink has also marketed the product globally with strong initial interest converted into contracts and purchase orders.
The technology base developed by the company is being used to rapidly bring new products to market. These products will broaden the business opportunities for the Company and address current and future broadband market segments.
