Acacia Gems sells quality Tanzanite gemstones to jewellers and individual customers. We are able to offer high quality gemstones at very reasonable prices because we buy our Tanzanite from the miners and dealers in Merelani, Tanzania.
Acacia Gems Ltd (New Zealand company) is run by Rumishael and Robyn Masanga. Rumishael is a native Tanzanian, who previously led a team mining Tanzanite in Merelani. This experience makes him an expert in choosing quality gemstones; and because he personally purchases the gemstones in Merelani, we guarantee the quality of the Tanzanite gemstones we sell.
Rumishael is also fully aware of the issues the miners and their community face. As a company, Acacia Gems is committed to conducting our business with ethical and fair practices, ensuring that the local people benefit from, and are not harmed by, our business transactions.
