Agora Foods was created in 2000 with a vision of creating the industry’s greatest food service company. The first 2 years, Agora Foods operated as sales and marketing arm for several protein companies by matching customers’ needs up with the inventories held by Agora Foods manufacturers. Even though Agora Foods was very successful in this segment of the business, a vision was set on a much grander scale which was to become the protein industry’s most innovative supplier of quality products to the food service channel. Today, Agora Foods is achieving goals that were thought unattainable. Agora Foods has continued to be successful in the buying and selling segment of the company and has since expanded to introduce unique products to the industry. Agora Foods is not only known as an innovator of chicken, but always keeps quality as its 1st priority. Our corporate headquarters is located in north Georgia, where Agora Foods and its subsidiaries proudly employee over 600 people. Agora Foods continues to focus on the traditional food service industry which has been the life force for the company. Recently we expanded our sales operations in the retail deli, regional restaurant chain, convenience store and grocery channels of the food industry. With our family of brands Taco Tender®, Taco Finger®, Specialty Chicken King of Protein®, and Mark Sosebee Signature Foods™, Agora Foods is positioned to continue to be the industry leader in the development and sales of the most cutting edge line of new products.
