The company is one of private science and technology enterprises.
The company has research institute, test center and demonstration base of raw material planting. In 2013, The Company had constructed and put into operation five multifunction plant and pharmaceutical raw materials with advanced energy-saving process technologies including counterflow ultrasound extraction, membranes ultrafiltration concentration etc.,intermedium production line, refining-drying-packing workshop meeting GMP requirements and gutta-percha production line with hundreds of tons annual output. The enterprise was rated as local good-faith taxpayers and key industry demonstration enterprise. In recent years, the company has repeatedly won science and technology progress award in Ankang of Shaanxi and a number of national invention patents. The company applied proprietary intellectual property rights and core technology to mainly develop local biological resources, such as, eucommia ulmoides, puerariae, which is in the domestic leading position.
In the aspect of comprehensive utilization of eucommia ulmoides industry, in 2002, the company cooperated with chemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and built the countrywide first semi-continuous production line, and its annual output can reach 100tons. In 2003, the company extracted eucommia ulmoides gum from leaves of eucommia ulmoides, bark of eucommia ulmoides, peel of eucommia ulmoides, which obtained national invention patents, Moreover, production technology of pharmaceutical intermediates also obtained national invention patents(patent number: ZL00135457.4). In 2012, the company obtained the countrywide first provincial standards of quality about eucommia ulmoides gum. In 2013, eucomimia ulmoides gum splint obtained production and registration approval of a state of medical apparatus and instruments.
