The AP Goyal Charitable Trust was setup in 2005 as a non-profit charitable trust that would mobilize world-class education and generate resAPG Shimla Universityces for supporting quality education for all sectors of population. The society recognizes the right of every individual, to lead a life of dignity and self-respect in a just and equitable society. AP Goyal Charitable Trust also recognizes the need to build up the capacities of individuals and communities to improve the quality of their ability to negotiate from a position of strength to higher strength, which would come from being intelligently educated, good health and thus having the capacity to engage them in productive work. Within the above mentioned framework, the Trust will remain committed to working towards human society, where HARMONY, PEACE, & PROSPERITY. In the last few decades number of universities have come up in India and abroad with the sole purpose of providing quality education. However unlike other organization that focus their efforts on educational program alone, we shall support long term development initiatives that arise out of the felt needs of an individual, community and total human society at large. With the view of demanding significance of Universities guiding India in the economic progress, AP Goyal Charitable Trust is planning to setup a Private University in an area of 220 Beeghas at Shimla, Himachal Pradesh;
