Apimeds is a biomedical company established in September, 2003. Over the last 20 years of R&D on MS, Pain & Inflammation, Apimeds has already established a global level of technology and product development through continuous research and product development efforts on three business fields of bio-pharmaceuticals, animal drugs and medical devices.

In the bio-pharmaceutical area, apitox, approved as the 6th new drug, and as New Biological Drug from Korea FDA in 2003, is already on the market in korea. Apmeds has developed and secured proprietary right for edible vaccines against recombinant human papillomavirus (HPV) expressed in transgenic plants. Apimeds has also developed an injection-Type Adeno-HPVVLP Vaccine against HPV.

In the animal drugs area, and injection-type apimelena is expected to be commercialized by the first quarter of 2009. In the medical devices area, APIMEDS, Inc. developed a medical apparatus called Extt-101 for personal perineometer exerciser. The projection of ExTT-101 export to the Asian markets and licensing out to the global market will be achieved in 2009.

Apimeds will focus its efforts on the development of global marketing capabilities through its own R&D activities and global strategic alliances.

Apimeds, as a unique Bio venture company, will make a challenge to develop global new drugs, and will be reborn as one of the leading companies of BT industries.
