Jiangsu Changqiang Steel company is situated at the Jingjiangindustrial park of Jiangyin economic development zone, covering anarea of 800,000 square meters, has an annual production quantity ofpig iron 1,300,000 tons, steel 1,500,000 tons, bar material 600,000tons. It divides into seven sub-factories: Raw materialfactory, Sintering factory, Iron factory, Steel factory, Steelrolling factory, PoBaoTou Chuangcheng Co., Ltdr factory and Gristmill. It has 28 cold-drawing production lines and 2hot-rolling producing lines. Mainly producing the size of￠8-￠159*1-20mm hot rolling and cold drawing seamless steel pipes.Its annual producing ability is 500,000 tons. The factory is planto moving according to the governments requirement. The producinglines will move to the factory in Wuxi.Jiangyin Metal tube-making Factory owns an advanced ￠273 hotrolling producing line. Mainly producing the size of￠159-￠340*5.5-40mm and the annual producing ability is 300,000tons.Wuxi Jiangnan High Precision Pipe Co., Ltd. owns an advanced ￠140hot rolling producing line. Mainly producing the size of ￠60-￠220mmand the annual producing ability is 200,000 tons.All three factory own several sets of advanced on line detectingtest equipments mainly including eddy current inspectioninstrument, ultrasonic inspection instrument and hydrostatic testinstrument. Besides they total own three inspection labs, includingone national inspection lab.
