Hand block printing has been Barmer Kala Niketan tradition since three generations.

The business was started by Mr. Ramlal Dalichand Khatri who is the proprietor of the company. The Company is well known as an alternative role model for good business practices, and the ongoing revival of traditional textile skills.

Barmer Kala Niketan has bring into being exclusive & beautifully handcrafted textiles and soft home furnishings in cotton, silk and linen using specialized skills of Handblock Printing, Hand Embroidery and Hand Quilting in its designs. In an attempt to maintain the highest standards of quality necessitated by its customer profile, all the fabric procurement, finishing, checking, and packaging is completed at Barmer Kala Niketan workshop at a frame of high standards.
