Bestino Plantation House This is agricultural and Vanilla based. Bestino Plantation House (PNG) Limited packing centre is at Lae where we group vanilla from Lae locality, Madang, Wewak, Popondetta, Gulf and Central Province for grading and final export to Malaysia to feed our own Bestino Natural Oils factory. We also buy green beans from farmers and treat them at our in-house curing activities to avoid quality constraints. Vanilla beans exported meets the stringiest quality specifications of Bestino. Bestino Golden House (PNG) Limited Certification for business operation was received on 17th July 2007. Initially, we were buying and selling refined gold to our parent company in Malaysia. Later, in want of permanent base, Bestino negotiated with MRO � Metals Refining Operations which was non operational then and leased the refinery complex in 2008. Our main operations at MRO are: a) Gold Assay and refining services (MRO is the only refinery in PNG) b) Providing technical supports for alluvial miners. c) Buying gold from alluvial miners & walk in customers. d) Toll refining for major Mining Companies. e) Export of gold and other precious metals, with PNG identifications.
