Established in 1,994 and initially exporting only Raw Propolis, it was a natural development that BIOESSENS LIMITADA EPP begin to deal finished products as well, manufacturing propolis extracts in various presentations (in bulk), in orde to meet our clients' needs in the best possible way.

Basically, our clients are from the Health Food, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics and Phytotherapy areas from around the world, namely: USA, Canada, Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea and others.

Our products count with complete traceability, and are manufactured in compliance with the strictest national and international guidelines, such as ISO, GMP and HACCP.

Our Green Raw Propolis for export are produced and harvested only on the South/Southwest region of Minas Gerais State (Brazil), more than 150km distant of great cities and farms. This alone, being far away from industrial and cities' pollution, translates into strong bee hives producing the highest quality, pesticide-free Raw Propolis. Also, this region is well known for the great quantity of the wild herb known as "Alecrin-do-campo" (Bacharis dracunculifolia), which is the basic botanical origin of Brazilian Green Propolis. This particular herb has been largely studied and is responsible for the high levels of Artepilin-C and p-coumaric acid present on Green Propolis, both highly powerful anti-cancer and anti-oxidant agents.

Still on Raw Propolis, we count with the biggest network of propolis-oriented beekeepers on Brazil. This network is the result of relentless work, selecting candidate beekeepers, providing training and support; resulting in a solid, trust-based relationship. In other words, we can offer more competitive prices.

Also, we can offer 13 types of Propolis Extracts, as well as studying manufacturing viability of propois extracts in compliance with our clients' own specifications.
