Clinical assessments, with or without biometrology (corneometry, sebumetry, squamometry, mexametry, profilometry in vivo by fringe projection, video microscopy, etc)
Studies with auto-estimation and psychosensory evaluations (exclusive sensory metrology PS24)

There are several methods to prove the product's tolerance:
The occlusive method on the leave on products such as creams, makeup, etc.
The semi-occlusive method on the products diluted during their use, such as soaps, shampoos, waxes, etc.
The non-occlusive method on all the other kinds of products such as depilatory creams, etc.
ROAT (Repeat Open Application Test) which corresponds to 2 applications a day, on the same cutaneous zone, for 14 applications.
