Based near Cape Town, South Africa, Breede Valley Flowers in the process of setting up an aquaponics operation with the intention of supplying cut flowers to an international market. The operation is 100% organic and has an extremely low carbon footprint. The water used is recycled back through the aquaponics system and the plants are fed by the waste from Telapia fish. In addition we are establishing wormeries in order to feed the fish and the whole operation is housed in tunnels and power is from solar and wind turbines. We do not draw power from the national grid at all. Please be so kind as to indicate cut flower preferences and quantities required in order that we may factor this information into our set-up. Also, please give an indication of packaging requirements, terms and preferred methods of payment, freight requirements and nearest airport.
