Since 2001, C .A PHARM has made continued efforts to develop products for treating pregnancy stretch marks and atopic dermatitis as a leader of clinical alternative medicine. As a professional pregnant women & young children product manufacturer, C.A PHARM CO.,LTD have manufactured and provided cosmeceutical products which combine the advantages of cosmetics and medicine. 'Cosmeceutical,' a blending word of cosmetic and pharmaceutical, refers to high-performance cosmetics which medical performances have been verified.
We have introduced new products with double skin barrier functions for the first time in Korea by combining diverse natural ingredients such as the skin regeneration ingredient peptide complex and highly moisturizing substance PGA.
They were applied for patient, and advanced technology has been approved. As a result, we received Gold Prize at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva and Grand Prize at Seoul International Invention Fair WIPO.
Cosmeceutical products Plagentra and Atoplagentra earned certificate in the U.S. (FDA), EU, Vietnam, Japan (Ministry of Health & Welfare) and China. In addition, we signed an export agreement with China and Singapore in 2008 and with many other countries later including Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. In fact, they have been a big hit in world market as well as in Korea. After being designated as KOTRA-guaranteed brand, in addition, we have further accelerated its export through our branch office in China and EU. With Plagentra, we were awarded Prize of Minister of Gender Equality & Family, No. 1 in Consumer Satisfaction Index, the Best Awards by Women, Grand Prize at Brand Marketing Awards 2010 in pregnant women and baby cosmetics, Premium Brand Award 2009 and Grand Prize at Korea
Top Brand Award 2010. We also earned Gold Prize at the international exhibition of inventions in Geneva, Moscow and Taiwan. Based on these achievements, diverse marketing activities and advanced technology and high-quality products which can satisfy female consumers, we have strengthened our marketing-leading brand power. This year, we were chosen as one of Hi Seoul brands as well. As a result, our products have been advertised with 'Hi Seoul' on them. In addition, we will be able to receive comprehensive marketing support from the municipal authority and enhance our corporate and product competitiveness.
As a market leader in Korea, we have helped poor children around the world to fulfill our corporate social responsibility and give the love we received from our customers back to them. In addition, we promoted childbirth encouragement campaign to solve an ongoing low-childbirth problem and atopic dermatitis healing campaign. Moreover, we launched Korea Encouragement Association of Childbirth & Childcare to increase childbirth rates. As a part of the childbirth encouragement campaign, we offer our product at 50% OFF at conception and birth of the 2nd child and give it as a free gift at conception and birth of the 3r d child.
We have also accelerated our R&D activities after obtaining affiliated research lab certificate. In addition, we have signed an academia-industry cooperation agreement for development of new materials and products with Kyungpook National University. We have made continued efforts to produce better products. We are going to keep working hard to provide the best products for pregnant women and young children.
