CariWood International is a young and dynamic wood trade company. From the office at Paramaribo in Surinam, CariWood exports several tropical species to Europe and Asia. For acquisition in Europe and Asia, Cariwood uses it&＃039;s Sales office in the Netherlands. Not only quality stands high in the standard at CariWood, justified entrepreneurship is just as important. The wood is, as it happens, withdrawn from durable forest areas in Surinam and Guyana. These areas have been released by the national governments for durable forest management or wood concession areas, which are supervised by a national forestry commission. By the tight control of the forestry commission in the export chain, illegal cut downs are prevented. In this way the customer get the guarantee that the wood comes from a durable and justified managed area.
