The company was registered in the year 2004 and acquired all the business of Kennpats Florist Ent. That had been in the floCAROLINA EXPORTS IMPORTS LTDr and other fresh produce industry for the last 17 years. Carolina employs professionals in flower, vegetables, fruits and other agro and animal based products. The managing Director of Carolina Exim, Mr. Ken Abuya has experience in the fresh produce industry for a time spanning 19 years. Carolina have a total of 10 permanent employees and several casual that are hired as need be. Most of our permanent staff is professionals in their respective field from Management, Marketing, Accounting, Quality Controllers among others. We have reputation internationally and nationally as reliable and honest traders in the field of fresh produce. Besides growing our own flowers and fruits in small scale, we mostly specialize in trading of fresh produce. We market flowers, fruits and vegetables from over 20 growers in Kenya as well as Ethiopia. We have been exporting to several Markets around the world Russia, Australia, Dubai, S. Arabia, Egypt, UK, and Lebanon among others. We do trade in over 60 varieties of fresh cut roses and several summer and exotic flowers. Our yearly turnover from fresh produce exports has now hit its $30, 000, 000 and we hope to surpass this yearly. We also have several types of Vegetables and Fruits that we do export. As well as organic Honey that we harvest in Ethiopia. Among other products we trade in are Seseme Seeds, All other types of grains like Sorghum and others.
