Company Description

The 22nd Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC-22nd, another name China Research Institute of Radiowave Propagation), founded in 1963. It is one of the major international radiowave research institutes of national level in China. The institute staff is over 1300, including one academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, 40 researchers and over 300 senior engineers. R&D of CETC22ll logging equipments started from1980, with the development of Acoustic and MSFL tools. Now CETC-22nd is able to provide digital well logging surface system, full series downhole equipments, EM-MWD system and mud logging unit. CETC-22 has established a whole research, development and production system of petroleum electronics products by the Petroleum Electronics Department. There are more than 200 employees in this department and most of them have over 15 years’ experience in wireline logging equipment and mud logging unit design and production. The department is supported by company owned manufacturing plant and electronic assembly workshops. Its major business covers production of primary four series of petroleum electronics with over 100 products, including open hole logging tools, well logging surface system, mud logging units and EM-MWD logging tools. CETC-22 has grown to be one of the major suppliers with full lines of petroleum electronics products in China. Most Chinese wireline logging and mud logging companies are customers of CETC-22. Short History 1963, CETC-22 founded; 1982, started R&D of OH tools; 1990, Developed the first Mud logging unit in China; 1991, Developed the first Digital well logging surface system in China; 2004, Developed the Advanced Express wireline logging platform; 2006, Cooperation with Hotwell, started international market; 2009, Developed the first Electromagnetic measurement while drilling (EM-MWD) logging system in China.
