China Railway Materials Company Limited (CRM) is a large-scale state-owned enterprise, focusing on integrated services to the railway industry and integrated services to the supply chain of steel business. CRM has the license to import iron ore and conduct coal trade. The sales volume of coal and iron ore has been increasing year by year. In 2008, the sales volume of coals and iron ores reached 8.20 million tons and 4.11 million tons respectively.
Strengthened by the advantages in railway transportation and logistics network, CRM has linked up coal mines, railways, ports, marine transport, and poChina Railway Materials Company Limitedr plants. Recently, the coal business of CRM has been expanded vigorously and CRM has developed mass coal supply capability.
The iron ore mine owned by CRM is already starting production, and moved abt 1 million tons in 2012
