DTH Group of Companies, mainly comprising of M/S Dharmasiri Tyre House (Pvt) Ltd, DTH Super Dag (Pvt) Ltd., and Dharmasiri Tyre Industries (Pvt) Ltd., was established in 1989 by the present Chairman of the group of companies, Desha Shakthi Lion P.H.G. Dharmasiri MJF / J.P., further widening the spectrum of services to make The Dharmasiri Group one of the largest establishments in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka.

The Founder of the Company, Mr. P.H.G. Dharmasiri won the Gold Award for the Entrepreneur of the Year 2004 & 2005 in the North Central Province as a result of the services carried out in the development of the Tyre and Rubber Based Products. He also won the National Silver Award and Desha Shakthi Gold Award as DHARMASIRI TYRE HOUSE (PVT) LTDll as The Indian Excellency Award for his remarkable contributions to entrepreneurship for the development of the industry.
