Donah's Passions products Donah's Passionsre created from a dream, by Donah Ollila, a single Mom of two. Her eldest child was born with several disabilities and was very sick. Through her need to find a way to care for her daughter she begn to study alternative therapies.

This LED her to the study of herbs. After several years of research, apprenticing and rebuilding her daughters immune system, herbs became a passion. Then one night she had a dream that she was in a store with shelves lined with jars. The jars contained herbs mixed in a liquid. She was able to identify the herbs and she took this a sign that she needed to continue her passion for herbs. She went into her kitchen and Donah's Passions was born. Today her daughter is healthy and well with some challenges and her company is growing. The products are still handmade with special attention, but the quality and texture are incredible.

Donah's Passions is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. All products are still being produced in small batches out of Donah's kitchen. The plants are being foraged from family property in Grover, North Carolina and neighboring wooded trails. Other plants are grown on the premises and what cannot be obtained this way are obtained from organic resources.

The company was truly, first established in June of 2004. However, prior to that the very first products were tested in a large local health food store. Since August of 2004, Donah's Passions has grown to have one retail location carrying the products to 11. The products are being sold in privately owned health food stores, health food store chains as well as specialty shops, spas and by individual health and alternative practitioners.

Areas of the country where the products are being sold include Charlotte, North Carolina, New York and California at the present time.

Products are sold retail over the internet and at trade shows. However the bulk of the business is done through wholesale to retailers and practioners.

Plans for the future are to continue to target the health food store markets as well as special skin treatment centers, and alternative health practitioners. The unique ingredients of each product allows them to cross more than one market successfully.

Donah's Passions is a licensed privately owned business and does have product insurance. Each product is UPC coded and meets guidelines.

Many of the infusions are steeping for six weeks of more to ensure that you receive the highest medicinal properties possible.
