DSS (Pty) LTD range includes world class manufacturers such as Kocom, COP Security, ViconNet, SmartDVR and many more.

Digital Surveillance Systems? cc opened its doors for business in 1999 in Lyndhurst, Johannesburg, acknowledging the digital transformation opportunity within the visual surveillance market. Yossi Danino and Greg Veffer combined their expertise, both in the security and IT fields, and stepped forward to become one of the first pioneers to supply, support and be involved in the early development of digital video recorders in South Africa.

DSS rapidly grew to become one of the market players in the security industry and moved to bigger premises in Highlands North end of June 2007. Due to the growing cross-over between the security and IT fields over the past few years, DSS became a subsidiary of Mustek Ltd. on 1 July 2007, now trading as Digital Surveillance Systems? (PTY) Ltd.
