The company’s main responsibility is to find the best possible clients, via Blue Book and personal experience, to foster lasting relationships and sell imported products such as Hard Green Bananas, Rambutan, Pineapples, Plantains, Limes, Malanga, Yams, Yucca and USA products such as Onions, Potatoes, SDST USA Corporationet Potatoes, Peppers, Herbs, Carrots and Cabbage. In addition to being an importer, when acting as a broker DST is also responsible for the following: a) Sales b) Logistics monitoring (transportation) c) Monitoring the Custom Clearing process through a US Custom broker d) Inspection of the product the moment it arrives to buyer’s warehouse e) Be present during USDA inspection if required and protect shipper by ordering a counter-inspection if it is in order f) Solution of conflict with: USDA, the consignee (buyer’s quality claims), US Customs, fumigation, X Rays g) Prompt reporting to shipper (seller) h) Expedite the collection process i) Performing any other activity required When acting as a broker, Seller will invoice, collect and approve clients. When functioning as a broker or sales agent DST must be compensated by the seller of the goods but only after payment has been received by seller/shipper.
