The Company in Brief :The Company was founded under the name the East Export Company (SAE) Decree issued on 26/6/1920 publication in the Egyptian Gazette dated 19.07.1920.Issued Presidential Decree No. 1899 of 1961 to amend the name of the company to the Eastern Company Cotton.Under the Presidential Decree No. 1106 of 1965 has been integrated The Company Cotton Khurimy Benaki (SAE) in the Eastern Company Cotton.The company is currently subject to Law . 203of 1991, issued by the Public Business Sector Law dated 06.09.1991 and its implementing regulations issued by Mr. / Chairman of Council of Ministers No. 1590 for the year 1991 issued on 10.31.1991 and consequently became a companies subsidiary of Egyptian shareholding. According to the decision of the extraordinary general assembly of the company held on 30-3-2009, the Company&＃39;s authorized capital by 55 million Egyptian pounds (fifty-five million Egyptian pounds) and the sEastern Cotton Compamyce 43.284 million Egyptian pounds (forty-three million two hundred eighty-four thousand Egyptian pounds) distributor to 8.6568 million shares (eight million, six hundred and fifty-six thousand eight hundred shares) the value of each share is five pounds and all the company&＃39;s shares with a nominal owned Holding Company for Cotton, Spinning and Weaving and clothes full ownership . The main center of the company domiciled in the city of Alexandria .the Purpose of the Company :* Trade, export and import cotton and its derivatives and its aftermath and its products and related items by itself or for its own account or participate with others .* Carrying out all activities and services commercial, industrial, service and financingrelated activity lumbar former itself or for its own account or participate with others .
