As an introduction of EUCATEX business,please note that Eucatex S.A, currently ECTX S.A,  was foundedin 1951 and since then has been manufacturing and selling ceilingpanels and insulating boards from eucalyptusfiber.In the beginningof the '80s, it was implemented the production of lines forhardboard, which still is one of the leading products of thecompany. In 1996, Eucatex began manufacturing MDP panels. In addition, itwas the domestic leader in ceiling panels and insulation boards ,wall partitions, flush doors.Eucatex also owns a manufacturing facility  entirelyintegrated in the manufacturing of paints  ( some for its ownconsumption and the remainder for the markeplace) and resins. Theindustrial evolution of Eucatex has always been associated to thegrowth of its planted forests, which ensures the continuous supplyof an important raw material for the company, the eucalyptusfibers.
