Originally designed for PC gamers, the Pertelian LCD?s first debut to the world was known as the GameOptics X1620, a 16 x 2 LCD display, which has its beginnings as a sketch on a napkin drawn by the founders of ForeSight Systems LLC, Vicken Simonian and Alex Jarzebinski, both students at the University of California, Los Angeles at that time. Since its introduction, many have sent comments stating the wide range of uses such a product has besides gaming. Popularity has grown rapidly as many have come to appreciate the little gadget?s usefulness and simplicity. ForeSight Systems LLC knew we struck a cord with the market back in 2005, as our first release of Pertelian started to make headlines in numerous online review sites across several languages. The culmination of an additional 2 years of work, the jump from GameOptics to Pertelian was a tough one, but finally, its release on December 2005 and the subsequent success thereafter served as fuel for the long road we still had ahead.
