Formosa carpet division was established in 1968, which is part of Formosa Chemical & Fibre Corporation. In the early stage, Formosa carpet produce Acrylic solid color carpet roll. In 1987, PVC backing facilities was invested, Formosa Carpet start to produce PP & Nylon carpet tile. On December 1995, Formosa carpet purchase

Formosa carpet division was independent as Formosa FCFC carpet Corporation.

At present, Formosa FCFC carpet has the latest fully computerized automatic tufting machine which enable to produce various exquisite graphic carpet tile or carpet roll and high quality out-door artificial turf. On August 1996, received ISO9002 international quality certificate. The annual production capacity of carpet tile is 2000000 m2 and annual production capacity of carpet roll is 4000000m2.
The main materials of pile are Nylon, PP, and Wool. In addition of special treatment in bacterium resistance, insect resistance, flame resistance, soil resistance, electrostatic resistance, All these treatment is proceed by adding special chemical formula during yarn extrusion to melt with polymer in order to maintain long-lasting effect. For the customer diversity choices, Formosa carpet provides various products, which include level loop pile, level cut pile and high -low loop pile. Carpet yarn comprises single yarn, solid color twisting yarn and multi color twisting yarn.

Using USA 3M and Germany Bayer soil-resistance detergent .The surface of fiber covers a layer of protection to keep away from liquid, oil and dust. This treatment provides Formosa carpet easy to clean and keeps permanent which suitable for residential area, office building, hotel, corridor& banquet hall, commercial space, public place, running path, Golf field and in-door or out-door sport place.
