FUMO COMMUNICATIONS was established in 1997 in Palata, state of Molise, in the rural eastern center of Italy.
The major range of activities is the production of fiber optic assemblies and distribution panels in both multimode and singlemode, enriched by the distribution of cables, tools, machinery and some active equipment.
The declaration of the range of activities is termination of fiber optic cables and fibers in both multimode and singlemode.
Form the very beginning the major target is to produce huge quantities on a level of quality matching highest demands, enabling us to provide and satisfy Fumo Communications partners with both bulk and urgent supplies. Accordingly, the set quality marks are the specifications of various telecom organizations, and the best possible results announced by the manufacturers of connectors and cables/fibers; added by the engagement of our outstandingly skilled and flexible production teams, equipped with tools and machinery said to be the latest innovations in fiber optic work stations, who realize the metamorphosis from raw material to ready-to-work assemblies.
Due to permanently following our mission statement only well approved and acknowledged suppliers of components have been chosen.
The international headquarters and the main production unit - with a monthly output of up to 120''000 terminations - are still based in Palata, Italy. Through the years businesses extended even into regions where it made reasonable sense to establish an additional production and/or administration facility or a warehouse. Accordingly, in the early period of the new millenium hubs and partnerships have been found in Morocco, South Africa, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Canada and USA.
Set as a priority in strategy, Fumo usually limits the number of customers per region/country/area. This idea enables us to unlimited support and concentrate on our partners, as well as planning and effecting reasonable lots of production, optimizing transportation time and costs, and in its consequence granting most exclusive prices.
