GenBio Agriculture Trading and Export Co. is a food and agriculture trading, storage, and distribution company based in Antalya, Turkey and specializes in the export of Pomegranates to Europe and the Middle East. Frukton supplies its fruit through an exclusive contract with its affiliated production partner Gen Yapı Tasarım Proje Uygulama Tarım Kimya Ltd. Şti. (“Gen Yapı”) which is projected to yield in excess of 500 tones during the 2010 season. In addition to Gen Yapı, Frukton also procures its fruit from a select group of local producers located in Antalya as Gen Bio Ltd. Sti.ll as elsewhere along Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. Frukton insists on the highest quality standards for all its suppliers as well as its affiliated production. All of the 2008 production of Gen Yapı was certified organic, and the company is obtaining a GlobalGAP certificate from 2009 onwards.
