It owns and operates a mine in the mineral rich area of Kasigau, Taita-Taveta district, Coast province in Kenya. Areas of concern: Lack of market for all sizes and grades of the available gemstones that include: (1) Green Garnet Cabochons (2) Ruby Cabochons (3) Clean Rhodolites[Faceted] (4) Clean Red Garnets[Faceted] (5) Chrome tourmalines[Faceted] The mine covers an area of 1x2 kilometer in size with deposits of top quality Green Garnets/Tsavorites but it is unable to readily exploit the mine effectively due to lack of proper mining equipment and mining technical know-how due to financial constraints. The minimum mining equipment required include:- (1) 1 Excavator with accessories that include a breaker (2) 1 DC4 Ripper (3) 1 JCB Excavator/Loader (4) 1 Truck Tipper (5) 1 Air Compressor (6) Camp Equipment The cost of the above listed items is an estimated $100, 000 and locally available. What we do need is Partners in financing the hiring of qualified mining engineer and or geologist to spearhead the operations. Work so far done:- (i) Prospecting in 2 blocks done. (ii) Located the Green Garnet vein. (iii) Followed the vein up to a depth of 25 feet through opencast excavation. Results to date:- (i) Two grams pieces of Cabochon quality material in small pockets from a depth of 15 feet. (ii) Faceting material of 0.2 gram pieces has been obtained from a depth of 15 feet.
