Humanbio Co., Ltd. manufactures and exports a variety of medical testing kits and medicines. The company's product range includes pregnancy testers, Plasmodium vivax antibody detection kits, diagnostic agents, vaccines and drugs for malaria, cancers, allergies, tuberculosis and autoimmune disease. These are supplied on an OEM basis and under the company's own brand name.

Humanbio Co., Ltd. employs the Pichia Expression System for mass-producing recombinant DNA proteins and has submitted 52 DNA sequences to GenBank. The company's pregnancy tester gives diagnostic accuracy of above 95 percent and contains an antigen developed by the company. Human Bio Co., Ltd. plasmodium vivax antibody detection kit employs the ELISA method and gives diagnostic accuracy of more than 98 percent. Reflecting the quality of its products and processes, the company has received ISO9001 certification from Zurich Certification Limited.

Established in 1998, Humanbio Co., Ltd. is a privately owned company with registered capital of US$1.5 million and total investment of some US$4 million. The company employs a workforce of 50, including 20 production technicians and three quality assurance staff at its offices in Seoul. Annual revenues are in the region of US$5 million, approximately 45 percent of which is accounted for by exports around the world, with the majority of shipments destined for Africa, Latin America, East Asia, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific region.
