HYDRAFORM BUILDING SYSTEM: The Hydraform Building System (HBS) replaces the conventional bricks and mortar by using Hydraform interlocking blocks and interlocking building technique. The other components of conventional building system remain largely unchanged. HBS essentially gives you an option of dry / semi dry stacked-interlocking masonry system with plaster being also an option due to expose brick finish that enables speedier construction of high quality, aesthetic and affordable buildings . HBS is a green building technology as it uses locally available / site materials, does not require burning, uses minimal cement in construction, faster to construct, thermally more efficient and saves energy and blocks can be re-used The blocks are tailored to suit the standard wall thickness sizes of 9 inches , 6 inches and 4.5 inches. The standard Hydraform blocks have expose finish, beveled edges and interlocking tongue & groove type shear key on fHydraform International (pty) LTD out of the six faces of block. Following blocks are suited to different applications viz. external, internal, reinforced wall applications.
