Company Description

Kisun was established by Choon Hak, Kim in 2003. C.H., Kim is the mechanical designer and engineer educated from professional mechanical engineer cKisun Co., Ltd.se. In beginning of his career, he designed small sized offset printer for business card printing, feeding system of numbering machine, flexo CI Drum, card printer, offset memo-pad printer, over coating system for post-it memo-pad, stamp engraving machine, etc by customized order. Kisun entered into photographic market in 2004 and produced photo album making machine and small foot print UV coating machine. Specially, UV coating on silver halide photo paper was first application designed by him. At that time, most of album companies used water-based coating or film laminating ways which were very inconvenient and slow process.

Kisun's UV coating machine has the special patented texture coating technology and becomes well-known in photographic market. And, Kisun started to overseas sales in 2007 through photo fair and many of abroad photo album companies were using Kisun's products.

Digital printing technology has changed many things in photographic industry like printing industry. Kisun decided to enter into digital printing industry and started to develop the finishing machine for digital printer. The first product is Digi UV Coater for HP Indigo series. We adopted the demand of HP Indigo sheet-fed series and designed coating machine with dual coating station for UV and primer. It was first version for HP Indigo and produced by OEM supply and introduced first time in Drupa 2008.

Since 2009, Kisun developed automatic lay-flat photo book binding machine named Digi Binder and it becomes good photo book solution for HP Indigo photo book producers.

Kisun constantly put energy to develop new finishing equipments and launched various coating, binding and finishing solutions till now.
